Our goal at Water Sampling Services is to provide the most accurate and reliable data to our clients possible.
Our services include:
Certified Water System Operator/ Oversight
Water Sampling Services (WSS) is certified with the State of California, Department of Health Services, as both a Distribution (D1) Water System Operator and Certified Water Treatment (T1) Operator. In addition, Water Sampling Services is certified with: Monterey County, Santa Cruz County and Santa Clara County Departments of Environmental Health to perform water system oversight and regulatory compliance monitoring. Water Sampling Services has the experience and qualifications to ensure that water systems providing drinking water are in compliance with established water quality standards and regulatory reporting requirements, as well as the proper collection and analysis of any environmental sampling requirements. Our goal is to provide environmental services where our clients are comfortable and confident that their environmental testing programs, sampling, laboratory analyses and reporting are performed in a timely manner, meeting the specific requirements of each client or regulatory agency.
Water System Oversight
Water Sampling Services is certified and trained to provide Small Public Water Systems with complete system oversight for both water treatment and distribution of potable water meeting all standards established under the "Clean Water Act" and the "Safe Drinking Water Act". Water Sampling Services is staffed with qualified, trained and certified employees with extensive experience in the treatment and distribution of potable water.
Sampling Services
Water Sampling Services performs the proper collection of environmental samples in accordance with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and accepted industry standards for chemical analyses. Samples will be collected in properly preserved and prepared sample containers, and handled in accordance with the method of analysis. Water Sampling Services will be responsible for implementing a strict Chain of Custody Program documenting the handling and transfer of samples from the sampler to the laboratory. All collected samples will be submitted to state certified laboratories for analysis by approved methods.
Laboratory Coordination
Water Sampling Services provides complete laboratory coordination, ensuring that samples submitted to laboratories will be analyzed to meet the client's specifications. Water Sampling Services oversees method selection, appropriate detection limits, adherence to hold times, and timely turnaround. Upon completion of the laboratory analysis, Water Sampling Services validates the data from the laboratory and prepares a "Final Report" for submission to the client or regulatory agency. As a third party independent sampling company, Water Sampling Services can provide: sample collection, documentation, data validation and production of a final report that ensures that the laboratory data produced will be representative of the conditions sampled and eligible for submission to any client or regulatory agency.
